Traverse City Hotels
Does anyone know of a website that has a list of camps in the city, MI area crossing?
I travel there this summer and was looking for a good place! I'm camping …. so there are no hotels or anything like that. I feel as rough this time.
There Crossing State Park in the City. Although a bit large (350 sites can get noisy on weekends) and urban, not too rustic (showers and electricity) is just a short walk to Lake Michigan. Downtown Traverse City is only 2 miles away and kayak rentals are available at the park 15. km S of Traverse City is Interlochen State Park. It is close to a private arts community camp, and has led many biking and hiking trails between the cabins. Nearly 450 sites, can be noisy. Thus, in two for the lakes (not near the Lake Michigan). A the absolute best in Michigan and the value of the unit is Sleeping Bear Dunes National Park, 25 miles west of Traverse City. If you enjoy hiking and the scenery is gorgeous this is the place to be! Three camps to choose from, including a camping area for backpackers quiet store. Book ahead in line.
