A large hotel in Santa Monica is so right on the beach near the dock that accepts children?
Loews or Shutters. Blinds are right on the beach, Loews is one block back to the sea. There is also the Casa del Mar. naughty nice, but VERY spendy! Is shutters opposite and the two hotels are the hotels * right * only in the sands of Santa Monica. Do not go to the Viceroy, however. It's a meat market / engine young hip shaker-type place.
