Travelling to London by train?
I'm traveling from Paris to London for 2 days / one night. I'm staying in Kensington Court. To what extent is that from Waterloo Station? What is the best way to reach the hotel? No taxis cost you an arm and a leg in London?
Taxis are a little expensive, but if you arrive late at night, it might be a safer option. If you arrive during the day or evening, the subway ride takes about half an hour and probably would be faster (and much cheaper). TFL on the website, check out the details of the Oyster card you should be able to pick one up at Waterloo Station Ticket Office underground. Tavel is a lot cheaper, some, to be purchased separately (paper) tickets. Have a good couple of days.
