Hotel Deals Usa

Do you think this Haitian-American waiter at the Ritz Carlton in Florida is overreacting?

Mainly the part that says “Mr Tranchant, a US citizen, was so offended he has sought medical and psychological help, according to the court papers. He is claiming compensation.” comes off to me as a crybaby wanting to cash in on his employer because of the preferences of one of their guests.
I say if someone is paying $300-$600 a night to stay in this hotel they deserve to, say, oh I don’t know, decide they want to be served by a white person? If a black person said they didn’t want to be served by a white person this wouldn’t even have made the news and there would be no lawsuit.
Isn’t the customer always right?
Hey they can have whomever they want serve them, It’s their money. It’s not illegal.
The hotel caters to its customers not the employees. They hotel didn’t fire anyone or lay anyone off.
The Hatian waiter sounds as if he’s trying to milk it for everything he can get.
