Help – I need to stay in Central Texas for 1 week!?
Okay so my family needs to visit several awesome universities/colleges in the Great state of Texas to help my daughter decide where to go to college. I will need to visit Austin, San Antonio, Waco, College Station, Houston, Dallas & Ft.Worth. I have just about decided to stay in an Extended Stay Hotel probably in Austin. I want to stay somewhere inexpensive ( 50 to 75 per night max for 5 days ) but somewhere I don’t have to worry about my vehicle being safe, etc.
I understand to avoid east Austin – it seems like Round Rock is an Austin Suburb and very safe?
Can anybody offer any suggestions? I have already looked at extended stay motel websites – but obviously they don’t answer the questions I really need answered.
If there is somewhere else you would recommend – please advise.

THE “HOWARD JOHNSON” AND “BEST WESTERN!!” i just got back from doing the exact same thing, i know its crazy, and I was in texas too, I stayed in these 2 places. wonderful!!
