Discount Paris
Does anyone know where to buy cheap, market/discount clothes in Paris?
I have a one-day stopover and would just like to do a quick shop around.
Also i’ve heard of this place called Tati. Can i get any clothes there?
And also if you could let me know what time the stores in these places open and close….
If you want pretty good clothes, areas near the Forum Des Halles and the Georges Pompidou Centre have a lot of clothes shop. Apart from that, you can go to the flea markets like the one at Porte De Clignancourt. It’s open on the weekend (if you happen to be there) and you get neat stuff there. The area isn’t too nice but there are a lot of bargains to be had there.
Tati is alright, then again not in a very good area (Barbes metro station) but the clothes are cheap..not always very fashionable but it’s worth a look. Happy shopping
