I want to go to Bathurst 1000, 2009?
I want to go to Bathurst 1000 next year. This will be my first time in Bathurst. Any help on better housing, food, taxis, car rentals, tickets, packages, flight or any advice at all would be great. Traveled from Perth, WA Thanks guys ^___^
I just moved to Perth this year, the first year I've been to the mountain from the 99. Obviouslly You have to fly to Sydney then get a flight to Bathurst Regional Airport, where you can catch a taxi or rent a car. Alternitivly you can get a train station, taking you along the line of Zig Zag, is a pleasant walk. Almost all the hotels in the Bathurst region will be reserved for now (lots a race teams and people who have good accommodation to book again for next departure year) You may want to look at the action of self (the magazine) or v8supercars.com.au and you can find a package with flights and accompanying. You can usually find hotels near Lithgow, which is about 100 kilometers away. Camping is the way forward, but. You can camp at the bottom, or two sections at the top. area Reid and Sulman camping is cheaper but that's as much of the unpleasant behavoit takes place (burned, cookies, etc), but my colleagues said it has established a lot of this year, more police presence or McPhilimy theres camping in the park (more expensive, but I think it is better, less walk to the door) Only be warned that if he makes the field you might get a few punters obscene comments while intoxicated, even if its with your partner, but as I said BEHAVIOR has improved heaps in the top so they do not let that stop now!
